Treading Through Men

Whispers of deceit
They intend to kill
Yet always fall short
Instead, they leave knives
Pierced and bleeding we walk
Death will not follow
That would be too kind
No gentle breeze to chill the sweat
It will take it's toll
Tired and weary
Chained to follow your path
Still bleeding
And almost empty
When words were thought to be painless
It is a double-edged sword named 'words'
Woe the lashing
And scramble the visions left
There is no end
Your words I will carry
Yet I will not hint you my breath...

Then Comes Spring

We've been at it long enough

We've been testing the waters for too long

I'm taking the plunge.

If it's too hot than I burn

And if it's too cold, I will freeze

I do not mind.

If the water is too shallow than I can walk away

And if it's too deep, than I shall drown

I still do not mind.

For if everything is just right, I will care less of leaving

I will spend all my days in your warmth

And all my days soaked in you.
